WHAT IS A CONTENT CREATOR?

A content creator is the newest and fastest growing job in the wedding industry! Content Creators are a wonderful addition to professional photography and videography. Their job is to get behind the scenes photos and videos on their phones throughout the day. They also can do live social media posting so that the friends and family who aren't there can feel like they are there, and friends and family who ARE present can STAY present.

In an age where TikToks and Reels are where people like to share their memories, Content Creators can create trendy videos for the couple to share. This is a fun way to look back on your wedding day!

Content Creators for a wedding are also the quickest way to get a hold of your memories! While you wait for your professional products, content creators can deliver all of your photos/videos in 24 hours! They do not replace your photographer and videographer, however it does enhance your wedding day experience!

All my 2025 photo + video packages include a complimentary content creator! Reels/Tiktoks and additional coverage may be added for additional price.

I can give you 3.

1. Our date. December 30th. Smack dab between holidays and gave us limited options for venues and made it difficult for guests. I wish we had waited for Spring.
2. I didn’t wear a veil. Why? When else do I get to wear a veil??? Or a crown? Or SOMETHING! That is the day when being extra is normal. I wish I had gotten the veil.
3. MY BIGGEST REGRET. I didn’t hire a wedding videographer. I still cry over this one. It was the happiest day of my life and I don’t have one video of it. Do what you gotta do and get the videographer. It’s worth it.

A + E were an actual dream for these Zion engagements. September can’t come quick enough for their beautiful wedding at @thebarn.at.heinerranch ❤️

The one where my bestie gets engaged 😭

Keeping proposals a surprise takes more than just hiding behind a tree 👀

For this one, I brought a decoy client (the GOAT @dottie.eventco ), followed the groom until we found the perfect spot, and waited for the signal.

The signal?
👉 A casual selfie with his girlfriend.

That was my cue. I had about 60 seconds to move into position before he dropped to one knee.

She never suspected a thing because she thought I was photographing someone else 🫶

This is why planning + communication matter just as much as the photos themselves.

Shooting my actual shot here with the hopes I won’t shoot my eye out 🤓 but hey now… why not ;)

My favorite part of a family session is just letting the kids loose. Taking off the leash. Releasing the Krakens!!

And then watching.

Nothing brings out their silly little personalities more than letting them feel some freedom.
As a parent I get the stress. You paid good 💰 and want them to smile.
The smiles will come. They’re there. But first let’s let them be them and see what happens 🪄

Some family sessions look a little different, which is EXACTLY what makes them extraordinary.
Sue is a bright, beautiful little girl with autism. During our session, she had moments where the camera felt overwhelming, and that’s okay. Each time, Her parents met her exactly where she was…kneeling down, speaking softly, and letting her take the time she needed.

Here’s the truth: photographing children with autism isn’t about forcing smiles or rushing through poses. It’s about patience, flexibility, and following their lead. Sometimes that means taking breaks, changing locations, or letting them hold a favorite object… even if that’s mom or dad ❤️
And here’s the most important thing…the best images aren’t always the ones with perfect smiles. They’re the ones that capture connection, love, and authenticity.

If you’re a parent of a child with autism and you’ve been nervous to book photos… I want you to know that your session will be designed around your child. There’s no “wrong” way to show up in front of my camera. 💛

When you get sneak peeks the next day and realize it wasn’t a dream ❤️

Just a reminder: I don’t just take family photos…. I survive them too. Biggest shoutout to @kennydawn for wrangling my crazy fam and giving me images I’ll always cherish ❤️

Getting my crew ready for pictures was full-blown chaos. Outfits. Snacks. Meltdowns (mine included). And yes, I also considered canceling because I “haven’t lost the baby weight yet.”

BUT we showed up.
Because memories > perfection.

This is why choosing a photographer who gets it matters. One who knows how to work with wiggly toddlers, wild schedules, and worn-out moms who are just trying to keep it together.

I’ve been on both sides of the lens. I know how stressful it can feel…but I also know how much it’s worth it.

So here’s your sign: get in the dang pictures.
The size of your jeans isn’t what your babies will remember.
Mine will remember popping out his tooth in the middle of the session, playing games, and watching an adolescent eagle fall out of its nest in one of our favorite places in the world (the eaglet was okay 😂🫣 🦅)

Also… Scottie was the best behaved child last night 😂🦮

Please take a moment to pray for Pine Valley. My heart hearts for those who have lost their homes and the beautiful forest I love that is currently turning to ashes. Pray for rain. So much of it.

That’s a wrap for the Lavender Sessions this year! If you’re in St George or Cedar City you HAVE to make a day trip to see this farm! It’s peaceful, smells better than a Doterra distributors medicine cabinet, and is run by the sweetest people ❤️ just driving to see the dozens of giant swallowtail butterflies floating through the field makes the trip worth it ❤️

This is a tale of Maddie and Adam.
Their day was colorful and vintage and THEM so naturally their video needed to reflect that.

It was obvious that they were each SO loved by everyone who was there to support them. They were able to dance the night away to ABBA and make a romantic escape in a vintage Mercedes. (Ai isn’t writing this you guys… how am I doing? 😂)

This wedding was both a blast and a challenge. It allowed me to push outside creative comfort zones into a style that I don’t usually approach but found that I LOVED!
